Vance Library

About

The Vance Library was established in 1994 to serve Vance, Alabama and surrounding towns. The Vance Library was previously managed by the Tuscaloosa Public Library until 1998 when TPL voted to end funding for the branch libraries. Currently, The Vance Library is owned and operated by the City of Vance. The Vance Library got relocated to the Vance Civic Center in 2021 due to the reconstruction of Highway 11. The Vance Library currently hosts a community event called “Mom’s Morning In” that takes place every Tuesday Morning. Mom’s Morning In allows Preschool or Homeschool moms and kids to come and do crafts, play games, fellowship, and let kids run around outside!
