About
The North Hollywood Amelia Earhart Regional Library is one of 72 libraries in the Los Angeles Public Library system. Originally known as the North Hollywood Branch Library, the North Hollywood Amelia Earhart Regional Library is a beautiful Spanish Colonial Revival building constructed in 1929. It features a distinctive stucco and brick exterior with a double Spanish tile roof and clerestory windows. Inside, the library boasts an open-beamed ceiling, stained glass, and quotes from Sidney Lanier, the former poet who gave the branch its initial name. The library is now named after Amelia Earhart, who lived nearby in Toluca Lake.
