About
South Suburban Genealogical & Historical Society helps you find your family history. Our non-circulating research library is open to all, at no charge. Donations are gratefully accepted as SSGHS is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, staffed entirely by volunteers. The library contains 14,000+ items for the United States and many other countries. We maintain employee records from the Pullman Car Works at 111th Street and Cottage Grove Avenue in Chicago's Pullman National Historical Park. SSGHS offers monthly programs, classes, publications, and networking. Visit us in person or online to read our newsletter, join our society, see our databases and online catalog, and request research. NOTE: LIBRARY IS OPEN ONLY THE 1ST & 2ND SAT.
