About
Our mission is to provide equal access to information, education, and recreation through a variety of programs, technology, and services in an engaging environment to all members of the community. The Library's vision is Engage • Grow • Inspire The district serves a population of 26,600 in Grundy, Kendall, and Will Counties. We currently have 10 full-time and 20 part-time staff members who serve in our two buildings with an operating budget of $1,523,121. The Library is a member of the Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS) and part of the PrairieCat consortium. Our combined collection includes over 85,000 physical items and over 75,000 downloadables. The library provides access for all ages to technology and programming.
