Boone County Public Library brings the community together by providing gathering spaces and lifelong learning opportunities for people of all ages. Mothers, fathers, grandparents and caregivers bring their children to storytime to help them build language and literacy skills and end up sharing their child-rearing experiences with other caregivers. Adults attend live concerts, art workshops, local history presentations and more while interacting with people they’ve never met before. Teenagers hangout with friends while working on homework, and school-age children play and learn together at fun educational programs. Community connections are made every day at the Library.
