The D. A. Hurd Library's Mission is to offer the resources and encouragement necessary to promote the joy of reading, increase awareness of the world, broaden cultural horizons, and foster life-long learning; to provide a comfortable and welcoming place for all members of the community. The D. A. Hurd Library currently offers in-person browsing (masks optional) and curbside service. There are books, audiobooks, videos, magazines, crafts, CAC Musical Instruments, birding backpacks, STEM kits, audio kit, games, and fax & copy services. Laptops, mobile standing desks and free Wi-Fi available to use. You are welcome to browse in-person to borrow items and participate in our programs, events, and curbside service.
