About
Welcome to Whelden! A small library, located in West Barnstable, with humble schoolhouse beginnings dating back to the 1880s. Incorporated in 1901 and officially renamed Whelden Memorial Library in honor of the library's founder, Martha Lee Whelden, in 1923. Our "Small but Mighy" library offers tech support, programs for all ages, books, movies, a circulating vinyl collection (and record player), free accounts to all Massachusetts residents and so much more!
