Zhang Legacy Collections Center: Archives, Regional History and Special Collections

The Zhang Legacy Collections Center is home to Western Michigan University's archives, regional history collection, and special collections. The Center has more than 30,000 cubic feet of resources and books, making it the largest facility of its type in southwest Michigan and one of the largest in the state. Detailed finding aids exist for the manuscript collections. In addition to the manuscript collections, the unit has oral histories, census records, a research collection of books, magazines, and newspapers, and several large photographic collections.
