About
Fully accredited by the Nebraska Library Commission, the Crawford Public Library is an active member of the Western Library System. The current library building was the original Christian Science Reading Room built in 1918. In 1986 the building was donated to the Library Board of Trustees by the descendants of the Zula Hall's family; Florence Moore, Nancy Fisher, and Florence Reeves. The library then moved from the upstairs of the former city hall building into the remodeled quarters in 1987. In addition to its catalog of books and DVDs, the library also features public use computers, print/copy/scan/fax services, access to NebraskAccess databases, Libby digital materials, and a recently refurnished children's loft.
