About
Since 1957, the Corrales Community Library has served a small, vibrant village in central New Mexico. A rural community of 8,000 residents, the Village of Corrales is located along the Rio Grande river just a short drive from the cities of Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. Our original building was finished in 1979 -- almost entirely built by Corrales volunteers. There have been five additions to the building: the reference room (1983), a new children's room (1993), the current office space and expanded portal (2001), and our very popular teen room (2006). The most recent addition is our quiet reading room, which opened in 2014. Come and visit our library; a special part of Corrales' history and a vibrant gathering place for today's residents!
