The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library System is made up of 37 libraries & Library on Wheels. The System has 3.2+ million materials: books, eBooks, DVDs, music, magazines, streaming services & more. Libraries offer public computers, free WiFi & hotspots; sports & CPR kits; in-library & online resources; and free programming. Central Library (1 Lafayette Sq.) is the System’s headquarters. Central features a children’s room, teen space, the Mark Twain Room, Collections Gallery, Rare Book Display Room, a computer training lab, and the Launch Pad MakerSpace. Local organizations with offices at Central: Literacy Buffalo Niagara, Buffalo Presidential Center, Hispanic Heritage Council, Project Flight, Restoration Society & Arts for Learning WNY.
