Marlboro County has had a public library since 1901. A permanent display telling the history of the library from 1901 to 2010 is located on the main floor. Construction of this 20,000 square foot facility was completed in January of 2010 , when the Marian Wright Edelman Public Library was established. We offer a variety of services, which include: faxing documents, scanning documents via email, mobile device printing, copying/printing documents, computer use, materials for checkout (books, DVDs, books on CD, eBooks), meeting room spaces, local genealogy, and much more. Our facility is open six days a week and our staff are here and ready to help meet your needs.
