McBee Library and Railroad Museum
Public library
About
The library was originally built in 1914 by Seaboard Air as a depot for both passengers and freight. Seaboard Air stopped the passenger line in the 1960s, and the depot was officially closed in 1971. The building was renovated in the 1980s and now serves the citizens as the McBee Depot Library and Railroad Museum. On September 2, 1999, the McBee Depot Library and Railroad Museum was officially listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
