The Aledo Public Library provides free borrowing services to all residents living within Parker County (Texas) and Aledo ISD. The mission of the Aledo Public Library is to encourage a love of reading; promote lifelong learning; and broaden informational, educational, recreational, and cultural enrichment opportunities for our patrons. After 30 years of operating as a non-profit, tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, the East Parker County Library gladly joined the City of Aledo in October 2024 and officially became a City department. We celebrated with a name change -- welcome to the Aledo Public Library! Our mission has not changed, and we continue to appreciate your donations and support.
