A service of the City of Bastrop, Bastrop Public Library has over 50,000 items in the collection including books for all ages, DVD's, audiobooks, cakepans, magazines, and more. Year-round programs include Storytime on Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:30, LEGO Club for elementary-aged kids on third Tuesdays from 3:00-4:30, Teen Thursdays (13-17 year olds) on Thursdays from 4:45-6:15, Coffee with Catherine for all ages on Wednesdays from 3:00-4:00pm, and more! Staff are great at curating positive interactions with visitors whether they have a library card or not.
