The Carnegie Library of Ballinger is one of four Carnegie Libraries in Texas that is still in use as a library. We offer free Wi-Fi, 5 patron computers and 3 AWE Learning Computers for children, a notary public, up- to- date books, Children’s Story Time on Wednesday mornings, and a lovely Shakespeare room that is available for rental. We have a huge auditorium upstairs that is also available for rental for large events such as weddings and proms. We are a nonprofit and have a Board of Directors who govern us. Stop by for a big surprise when you find yourself in such a beautiful, historic building.
