University library
About
While there has always been a library collection on campus, the current building opened on October 12, 1984. It features a unique Bhutanese architecture, as do many of the buildings on campus. The atrium of the Library is light and airy and houses one of the tapestries from the University's collections, which was sewn by Buddhist monks in Thimphu, the Bhutanese capital. There are over 200 works of art on permanent display, including paintings by Tom Lea and over 100 original drawings by Jose Cisneros. The Library is a participating member of TexShare.
