The Sanpete County Bookmobile discontinued bookmobile stops effective June 30, 2024. The Utah State Library is committed to maintaining library services in the area and will cover all expenses to keep Fairview Library open, staffed, and with a current collection through at least June 30, 2025. All Sanpete County Bookmobile cards will remain active and access to ebooks and digital audiobooks through Libby, as well as interlibrary loan services will continue to be fully funded by the State Library until that time. In the meantime, the State Library is working directly with the leadership of the communities of Fairview, Fountain Green, Chester, Moroni, Wales, and Spring City on long-term solutions.
