Nestled in the heart of Gays Mills, Wisconsin, the Gays Mills Public Library has been a cornerstone of the community since 1941. Founded by the Women's Literary Club with a mere $10 investment, the library has flourished over the years, reflecting the unwavering dedication of its patrons and staff. Through resilience in the face of fire, flood, and time, the library has moved several times, finally settling into its current location on State Highway 131 in 2012. As part of the Southwest Wisconsin Library System (SWLS), the Gays Mills Public Library provides access to a vast collection of materials, offering a haven for bookworms and knowledge seekers alike.
