There has been library service in Waterford, Wisconsin since the 1920′s. The Waterford Public Library opened for business in its spacious new location at 101 N. River Street on March 12, 2001. Library cards are available free of charge to any area resident with current identification and proof of address. The Waterford Library is a member of the SHARE consortium, so our library card will work at all of the 22 public libraries in Racine, Rock and Walworth Counties. The SHARE libraries offer a wide variety of materials in many formats: adult and juvenile books, large print books, books on tape, CD and MP3 players, music CDs, videos, DVDs, magazines, newspapers and a library of things.
